Artist: Micqaela Jones
In the summer when I walk along a foothill trail, small blue butterflies sometimes land on my socks and legs, attracted to the salty moisture. Higher up in the alpine forest when I sat down on a log to rest and drink some water near Ypsilon Lake, a colorful butterfly landed on my leg. Otters, bears, wolves, and foxes like to play. Insects play too- bees enjoy pushing around little wooden balls. Micqaela Jones shows the playfulness of wildlife. Her animals have surprizingly bright and vivid colors along with graphic curvelines. She shows their life force.
